Lyric Soprano Lauren Curet is a graduate of Manhattan School of Music’s Master’s degree program. Over the years, Lauren has grown to be a Mozart style soprano singing infamous roles such as Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Despina in Cosi fan Tutte, Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Ilia in Idomeneo. Outside of Mozart’s repertoire, Lauren was the first woman of color to perform the role of Bianca in the Italian translation of I dialoghi delle Carmelitane. Her scene work includes Cendrillion in Cendrillion, Galatea in Acis & Galatea, Amore in L’incoronationazione di Poppea, and Adele in Die Fledermaus. She is a proud alumna of LA Songfest, La Musica Lirica, and The Juilliard School’s Pre-College.

Outside of the opera world, Lauren is a musical theater aficionado with her repertoire including Maria from West Side Story, Rose in Dogfight, Marta in Company, and Hildy in On the Town.
